In 1882, after 30 years of producing cigars at the Antonio Aronez factory, the company decided to launch a brand new brand, emphasizing high quality and high prices. With unwavering confidence and a touch of arrogance, they named the brand "El Rey del Mundo" (King of the World) and quickly achieved success. Today, this success is still reflected in their select Havana cigar range, renowned for its smooth to medium body and consistent flavor. All sizes of cigars are made with tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and using the "totalmente a mano, tripa larga" (fully handmade long filler) technique.
